Awards

The following awards and certificates are available to NCBA members upon request (see the Contact NCBA page for mailing and e-mail addresses):

SCHOOL MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE – Suitable for framing, this certificate acknowledges the school's membership in NCBA. (Available for each school in which a member teaches.) View an example of this award.

FRIEND OF THE BAND AWARD – Suitable for framing, this certificate acknowledges a person or organization outside the band program for their efforts in supporting the program. (Please include name and reason for presentation in your request.) View an example of this award.

HONORS BAND AWARD – Suitable for framing, this certificate acknowledges participation in the Honors Band. View an example of this award. You may also download the NCBA Honors Band Award Nomination Form (PDF file).

ROBERT F. O'BRIEN AWARD – This plaque is awarded to a graduating student for outstanding effort and achievement as a Catholic school musician as exemplified by NCBA founder Robert F. O'Brien. REV. GEORGE WISKIRCHEN JAZZ AWARD – This award goes to the outstanding jazz musician in a band program. (Available at a cost.)
